The Body Butter by Sussane Kaufmann has been developed using some of the best hydrating ingredients: olive oil, shea butter and honey. The result is skin that is not just soft and smooth, but nourished and moisturized inside out.

It is particularly effective for the knees and elbows where skin tends to get extra dry. The formula provides your skin with enriching, and long-lasting moisture. Light as butter and as fragrant as a spring garden delicately teasing you with its blooms, the body butter provides the luxury and indulgence of a spa like experience, right at home.

You should gently massage this rich body butter over the whole body after having a shower or bath. For best results, use daily.

Aqua (Water) The natural, spring water is filtered through a special water treatment system that cleans, energises and mineralises the water. It is a good solvent for many raw materials. Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil Olive oil, rich in vitamins and oleic acid, binds moisture. With its antioxidant effect it helps reduce the signs of skin aging. Pentylene Glycol The organic compound of sugarcane bagasse and corn improves the skin's ability to bind water and increases hydration levels. It is also characterised by its antimicrobial properties. Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter Shea butter is rich in minerals and vitamins such as vitamin E, beta-carotene, omega-3 fatty acids, stearic acid and linoleic acid which fight free radicals, protect skin cells and provide long-lasting hydration. Cetearyl Alcohol A fatty alcohol that occurs as a natural component in plants. It improves the stability of emulsions and has strong soothing properties. Glyceryl Stearate Citrate Plasticiser based on plant-based raw materials. It easily sinks into the skin and slows down the loss of moisture. It also protects against damage by free radicals. Glycerin It is present in all waxes and oils. It attracts water to the skin and supports cell regeneration. We only use plant-based glycerin. Sucrose Stearate Plant-based emulsifier made from sugar with skin caring and strong moisturising properties. Cera Alba (Bees Wax) Beeswax soothes dry, chapped skin and forms a soft protective film on the skin as well as having an antimicrobial effect. Lactis Proteinum (Whey) Powder The natural acid mantle of the skin is supported by the milk protein from whey and can better protect itself against harmful bacteria and chemical reactions. For this reason whey supports the skin in the healing process. Whey is also easily tolerated by sensitive skin, prone to allergies. Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil The vitamin E in sunflower oil provides an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect that protects against premature skin ageing. Rich in lecithin, the oil supports the skin's protective acid layer. Mel (Honey) Honey is one of the most well-known natural ingredients to support skin health. It provides the skin with moisture, contains antiseptic, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is a collagen booster. Pollen Extract Flower pollen is rich in amino acids and vitamins to promote cell renewal and regeneration. It also protects against free radicals. Tocopherol Tocopherol is a collective term for various vitamin E derivatives. Vitamin E protects against free radicals, retains moisture in the skin, promotes cell renewal and can reduce skin damage caused by UV radiation. Tocopheryl Acetate It is derived from vitamin E and is resistant to light and oxygen. It is well absorbed by the skin and has a healing function. It acts as an antioxidant and a free radical scavenger. Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate Sodium stearoyl glutamate is produced from plant-based raw materials, serves to improve viscosity and has cleansing properties. Xanthan Gum Xanthan gum is a fermentation product and is created by natural microorganisms on the basis of sugar-containing substrates. It is used as a natural emulsifier and has a good skin compatibility. In addition it has a tightening effect. Parfum (Fragrance) Fragrance with very low allergenic potential and no preservatives.
